1. Choose a course and pay once
Find a course in the catalogue or from your licensing authority's page, add it to the basket and pay at checkout in UAE dirhams. Price follows length: AED 349 for about two learning hours, AED 449 for three and AED 549 for the four-hour core course. There is no subscription.
If you check out before creating an account, the course is added to your account as soon as you register or log in with the same email address. Your courses then appear under My Courses.
2. Study the lessons in order
Each course is divided into sections of two to five lessons. Lessons are written for UAE practice: they name the federal law or authority standard behind each duty and work through case studies set in clinics and hospitals across the emirates.
- Lessons unlock in order. Each lesson has a short minimum reading time, based on its length, and you need to reach the end of it before the next one opens.
- Knowledge checks. Every section ends with a few questions, with an explanation for each answer, so you know whether the section has landed before you move on.
- Reflection notes. Under each lesson there is an optional box for your own notes on how it applies to your practice. These notes stay in your browser on that device.
- Reading aids. A Listen button reads the lesson aloud, and you can enlarge the text.
You can stop at any point. Your place is saved in the browser you are using, so it is simplest to finish a course on the same device and browser.
3. Pass the final assessment
Most courses end with 20 scenario-based questions. The pass mark is 80%, which means 16 correct answers out of 20. The questions test whether you can apply what the lessons teach to realistic situations, so they are hard to pass without having studied the course.
- If you do not pass, the assessment shows which areas to review. You can retake it after a short wait of five minutes, as often as you need.
- Answer options are reshuffled on every attempt.
- When you pass, your score is recorded against your account. If you pass more than once, your best score is kept.
4. Write your reflection and save your course pack
The last lesson of each course is a structured reflective account: what happened or what prompted the learning, what you learned, what you will do differently and how you will show it. After a short feedback form, you can save your course pack as a Word document or print it to PDF. It contains:
- a learning record with the course, completion date, course learning hours, the time you spent and your final score;
- a one-page revision sheet of the key points;
- all the reflections you wrote during the course.
The learning record is a personal record for your portfolio, not a certificate.
5. Download your certificate
Once the course is complete, a Download Certificate button appears. The certificate is a one-page PDF with your name, the course title, the approximate learning hours, your score, the completion date, a certificate number and a QR code for verification. The certificates page shows every detail it states.
Check your name first. The certificate uses the first and last name on your account, and each course certificate can be downloaded once. Correct your name before you download; if you need another copy later, contact support.
Questions
Can I study a course over several days?
Yes. There is no need to finish in one sitting. Your progress is saved in the browser on the device you use, so when you come back on the same device you continue from the lesson where you stopped. Starting on a phone and finishing on a laptop may mean repeating lessons you already completed.
Why can I not skip ahead to the assessment?
Lessons open one at a time so that the certificate reflects study, not just a test score. Each lesson has a minimum reading time based on its length, and the next one opens when you reach the end. Knowledge checks and explanations along the way prepare you for the final assessment.
Does finishing a course mean my licensing authority has recorded it?
No. We do not send anything to the DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SHA or DHCR. Your certificate records the learning, and you decide whether and how to use it. Our courses are not accredited by any UAE authority, so whether the hours can count for renewal is your authority's decision.
